I don't see anything in the Winamp interface that allows you to overlap
tracks.
I tried running two sessions of the program (many Windows programs will let
you do that if you rerun the exe while it's already open) - Winamp doesn't
do that.
Then I tried copying all the Winamp program files so I had two
installations, which you does allow you to open a second session of the
program - however, when I try to select and play an Mp3, I get the message
"Could not initialize Audio;audio device already in use" which I suspect
means my Windows audio device rather than the program itself.

Subject: (idm) djing with mp3s
I am djing at our local club here in Rijeka, Croatia this
Friday and my brother (qwerty) is playing live...
My brother will go there with laptop PC Pentium 150Mhz.
I don't want to carry CDs and records down there, so I was
wondering is there any good software which can mix mp3
files ? So the question is can you DJ with mp3 files with
sb16 soundcard ? Probably not...but...
thanks
bye
